It’s supposed to be a special, exciting occasion; however attending weddings always becomes a stress as you struggle to find something suitable to wear. Here, I give you my top tips and suggestions for dressing and accessorising to find you the perfect wedding outfit.

To ensure you don’t tread on the Brides’s toes on her big day, choose a gorgeous green dress to razzle and dazzle them! A dress like this chic, pleated dress from Ted Baker, £129, will really suit women with a slim, leggy frame as the waist-tie will define your waist, whilst the volume on the skirt will help to create a feminine shape. However, if you’re curvy or self-conscious of your tummy, the clever pleated style will conceal any lumps or bumps!

Pair this pretty ensemble with nude heels from LK Bennett, £195, to follow in Miss Middleton’s fashion-forward footsteps.

If you want to embrace the feminine pastel trend for the wedding, opt for beautiful blue’s, canary yellow, peach or pale pink which are perfect for all skin and hair tones. I have fallen head-over-heels with this ASOS Salon Pencil Dress with Anglaise in baby blue, £75.

The ultra-feminine vintage-style and delicate embroidered lace detailing channels an effortless romantic vibe. Accessorise this piece with a matching pastel clutch bag in canary yellow for a stylish ensemble.

Embellishments have been huge this season and you can still follow the trend and dress for the occasion with this gorgeous maxi dress from Monsoon, £49. The rich, azure colour will look best with your post-holiday tan. This luxurious embellishment means that your accessorising should be kept to a minimum so opt for simple, gold bangles or cuffs.

I adore the print trend this season and this can be wedding appropriate with this romantic floral print pencil dress from Karen Millen, £160.

Accessorise this beautiful piece with the chic, yet simple clutch bag from Karen Millen, £95. This is certain to remain a staple accessory for your occasion wear.
